Although people do still play it online, but it is all PvP and I got my socks rocked harder than I ever have so ymmv. Diablo® II: Resurrected breathes new life into Blizzard Entertainment’s acclaimed ARPG and its expansion, Diablo® II: Lord of Destruction®, from beginning to end. It is Westwoods version of the genre and I think is a better single player game.
It is on GoG for $1.49 right now and $5 regular. You know who were the real champs of Blizzard and Diablo? Blizzard North (AKA, Condor).ĮDIT: Oh and play NoX. This game is good if you like D2 and aren't afraid to have your rose tinted glasses shocked a bit (gorgeous game but mechanically some changes were better). Those guys remade Tony Hawk in such an excellent way and then came in and did a great remake of D2 and then what is there reward? Losing their company name and joining Blizzard, a studio that is better associated with employees stealing breast milk, a jerk CEO, D0n'T yOu hAvE Ph0n3s?, and a series of abuses. You know what the worst part is of DII Resurrected? That the team who made it were absorbed into Blizzard. Review code for Diablo 2: Resurrected was supplied by its publisher, Activision Blizzard. For you kind information, this game is not. Buy it for yourself and you are able to play after downloading.
I went from a hardcore devotee to a raise eyebrow each game. Go to store and find Diablo2 : Resurrected. Blizzard doesn't do anything for me and has not for a long time.
